The Big Fish Story:
a while back, i set a goal to catch a big bass on small string. i was hoping to get one weighing over 7 pounds on 6 pound test. and i'd say this one fit the bill, wouldn't y'all? judging from the size of that belly, she hadn't missed many meals, that's for sure. this was really my first serious foray into light line fishing for big bass. oh course, a big ol' bass on a little line is 100% adrenaline pumping excitement, so i've been hooked ever since. i've upgraded my equipment a little since this fish, but here i'm holding my little ultralight "bream pole" that started the addiction. i've since been fortunate enough to catch bigger bass on smaller line, but this fish here will always be special. and the cool thing is, that wasn't even the biggest fish that little pole whipped that day, but that's another story for another time.

Nice Bass. sounds like you like finesse fishing. I know from experience it takes a while to fight big fish with small line but it gives the bait more action giving you that extra edge above other anglers.

another 6 for the BASS MASTER! an your rigtht about those carp being hard 2 catch i thinks those are 1 of the smartest fish out there but, when i was a little kid i grew up catching those at a river where i lived. But behind a burger king was the river and used 2 use Burger King french fries and catch some big old carp.

How about setting a goal where ya catch a small bass on a big string! ;) Just a suggestion. Okay....I'm done. I don't want to get carried away. Or lead others to believe I'm heckling you....Jignpig and I have a long standing joke going kids. Anyway, as I've always said you have impressive bass across the board. 5 as always for ya. ;)
